The project

 

Name: Music Education Capacity Building Program for Blinds (Music for All)

 

Music as a tool for education, for individual development, for sociability

Music as a way of better self-estimation for blinds

 

Main objectives: the creation of a professional music band at Hebron

Expanding and developing comprehensive education and extra curricular programs at the Blinds School;

Introducing and practicing music sessions in the blinds school;

Coordinating music training with Bethlehem Academy of music, Hiring specialists trainers;

Providing music training for all the blind students and teachers in the school;

 

Target groups:

The blind students in the school (65) students;

The teachers of the school (20) teachers;

Hebronites, by presenting the art during ceremonies.

 

The organization

Main objectives:
Serving the blinds in Hebron Governorate;

Facilitating education by registering school for the blinds;

Supporting the families of blinds and conducting advocacy programs for disables in general;

Enriching the society with qualified cadre and update equipment;

Securing a model building used as school;

Attracting more visually disabled students;

Taking care of vocational and training of the students.

Target groups of the organization
65 blind children from age 3-12 years old;

19 female teachers, 55% of them are blind;
130 parents of the students.
