The selection process of the support fund

All the projects submitted have been deeply studied and analyse depending on the objectives of the PIA.
Moreover, in order to make the selection as objective as possible, many internal and external actors of the PIA have participated to this process.

The process of selection has been divided in three phases:

Step 1: the administrative selection committee
This committee checked all the documents in order to be sure that the files were complete regarding the check-list of the compulsory documents required as written in the "call for proposal"
At the end of this first step of selection, around 30 projects has been rejected.

Step 2: the pedagogical selection committee
This committee were represented by palestinian experts in education.
They analysed the quality of general activities of the association, the relevance of the project and the adequacy with the objectives of the PIA.
At the end of this second step of selection, 26 projects has been submitted to the steering committe in Paris.

Step 3: the steering committee
The steering committe has been responsible for the final selection.
In the same way than the pedagogical selection committee, they analysed the quality of general activities of the association, the relevance of the project and the adequacy with the objectives of the PIA.
At the end of this third step of selection, 9 projects has been selected in the West bank and Gaza Strip.
