4-    Working groups on the cross-cutting and common activities

The cross-cutting activities or transversal lines are a way for all the associations/NGOs to have common objectives for specific activities. These common lines of the Inter-Associative Program will be discussed, debated, planned and organized between the involved associations.

The cross-cutting activities will then develop an active partnership between the organizations, Palestinian/Palestinian and French/Palestinian, on new fields of activities. The idea is that the different organization will then profit from the experience of the others by doing together, by sharing the skills and practices. These activities will work on the following:

  • Develop the capacity building of some organizations
  • Organize specific events/seminars on wide questions related to childhood
  • Organize/develop trainings to develop the skills of the educational staff

Reception

Around 60 persons attend the Reception, founders, partners and several associations acting in education for Palestine.

The French Consulate honors the event by his presence, welcoming the beginning of the PIA.

He notices that this program, implemented in partnership between French and Palestinian NGOs, shows the old and strong support of the French government for the Palestinian people. He underlines the importance of such a program in non-formal education in a context where children are exposed to so bad conditions of life, when they should be the future of the Palestinian society.
